Ngorongoro Serena Lodge

Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is a classic safari lodge with a spectacular location on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. The lodge is right at the rim on the southwestern side of the crater with an amazing view of the crater. From the rooms and all the common areas, you can enjoy the views via the huge windows, and the lodge also has a large balcony/viewing deck.
The lodge is of good standard, if not luxury, but the best feature is, without a doubt, the views of the crater itself. The lodge is also close to the descent road, so it is easy to get down to the floor of the crater early, for the best safari experience.
